Welcome to Lazarus Bakes!

We’re a cottage bakery in East Dallas, TX, featuring handmade, artisanal sourdough bread and sweet treats—naturally leavened with our starter, Lazarus. Each bake is made with care, quality ingredients (including locally sourced organic flour made from heritage grains), and a whole lot of heart.

✨ Pre-orders open Tuesday mornings and close Wednesday evenings for Saturday porch pick-up (8:00–10:00 AM).

    2. Once pre-orders open, go here and order your baked goods!

    3. Pick up your items on bake day during the allotted time.

    Small Batch

    Our goal is to provide an abundance of fresh baked goods to our community, but great sourdough can’t be rushed. Every bake is naturally fermented over time and crafted by hand to ensure the quality you expect from Lazarus Bakes.

    Because we bake in small batches, our products may sell out. If your favorite item isn’t available, be sure to check back during our next pre-order window!

    Need a larger order? With advance notice, we’re happy to accommodate catering, special events, and custom orders whenever possible.

    Porch Pick-up

    All orders are available for porch pick-up during a 2 hour window on bake day. After your pre-order is made, our location in East Dallas is sent to you. We are not far from the Arboretum.

    All sales are final, and we do not offer refunds.

    Please note that we are a cottage bakery. This food is made in a home kitchen and is not inspected by the Department of State Health Service or a local health department.

    We frequently bake with known allergens such as milk, eggs, nuts, and wheat.

    As a result, we cannot guarantee our products to be 100% allergen-free. It is, therefore, your responsibility to inform your guests of any allergy risks.
